Govt OKs StanChart plan to up stake in arm to 100 pct

NEW DELHI (Reuters) â The government has approved Standard Chartered Bank’s proposal to increase equity stake to 100 percent from 74.9 percent in its equity broking and investment banking arm, the finance ministry said on Thursday.
