Strong FII inflows, positive cues make the bull run again

The country s equity indices managed to end the week in positive terrain on the back of strong inflows from foreign funds and positive cues from the global markets. However, Asian shares fell on Friday, as disappointing US manufacturing data raised concern that its economic recovery might not be as fast as anticipated. The dollar remained firm as investors booked profits on gains in higher-yielding currencies. Domestic markets remained closed because of Gandhi birthday.
